Meter run unit (included into the Oil custody transfer metering system)

PURPOSE:

Meter run unit is an integral part of Oil custody transfer metering system and provide commercial accounting of hydrocarbons onsite.

Standard composition of Meter run unit:

• Inlet and outlet headers;

• Sensing lines (operating and spare);

• Closed drain line.
  

Standard composition of a sensing line with volume flow rate transducer :

• valve or ball valve at the inlet of the line;

• fine filter with quick disconnect cap, drain and air cocks (if a separate filter unit is not provided);

• volume flow rate transducer;

• a valve or ball valve with ensured closing of flow and control over the leakages at the outlet of the line;

• a valve or ball valve with ensured shutting down of the flow  and control over leakages at the outlet or inlet;

• a flow regulating device at the outlet of sensing line, if required;

• temperature transducer and temperature gage;

• pressure gage and pressure transducer;

• ball valve for drainage;

• air operated ball valve at the inlet of a line (if no filter on sensing line);

Standard composition of a sensing line with volume flow rate transducer (coriolis acceleration flowmeter):

• isolation valve at the inlet of a line;

• fine filter with quick disconnect cap, drain and air cocks (if a separate filter unit is not provided);

• volume flow rate transducer;

• temperature transducer and temperature gage;

• flow regulator at the outlet of a line;

• pressure transducer and pressure gage;

• isolation valve with ensured shutting down of the flow and control over leakages at the outlet at the outlet of a line towards a header and to calibration rig;

• ball valve for draining;

• ball valve to be place in upper point of sensing line.
