ARPD control agents

test

Formation of asphalt, resin, and paraffin deposits (ARPD) in crude oil may result in damage of oil field equipment and pipeline utilities, as well as reduced system performance and pump efficiency. In its turn, emulsification at well outlet along with the associated produced water will intensify sedimentation. Basic factors that determine wax deposit precipitation are pressure, temperature, filtration rate, gas factor, ARPD content, bottomhole area design and others.
Pour point depressants by Baker Hughes will effectively deal with ARPD formation in pipeline system since its primary action is to reduce crude oil pour point. Current ARPD inhibitors by Baker Hughes will stop formation of asphalt, resin and paraffin deposits, as well as, if needed, will easily and effectively clean the system.  In order to control ARPD, state-of-the-art chemical agents have been developed which prevent formation of paraffin deposits. Products and services provided by Topan and Baker Hughes will fit any scenario related to ARPD formation, even for extreme climatic conditions.

Range of products for ARPD control includes:
• ARPD inhibitors;
• ARPD dispersers;
• Pour point depressants;
• ARPD solvents;

ARPD inhibitors Designed to protect oil pipelines, wellhead and field equipment against ARPD during production and transportation. Capable of reducing viscosity and pour point of high-paraffin crudes thus improving their low temperature properties for production, transportation and storage purposes.
ARPD dispersers Designed to remove existing ARPD in wellbores, oil lines, tanks and field equipment.
Pour point depressants Designed to reduce crude oil pour point stipulated by high content of paraffin hydrocarbons. Capable of showing ARPD inhibitor properties and increasing crude oil fluidity and oil-water emulsions in the course of production, transportation and storage.
ARPD solvents Designed to flush oil lines, wellhead and field equipment from ARPD generated during crude oil production and transportation. High penetrating, dissolving and washing capabilities towards ARPD components, form a film on the metal surface, thus preventing further adhesion of paraffins and asphaltenes.
Packaging The products are supplied in 200 liter barrels.
Support and service Services provided by Topan alongside with Baker Hughes using various ARPD control methods will ensure maximum available efficiency of your field operation. They will also provide service support to implement, monitor and optimize.
