Biological oxygen demand analyzer OxiTop® IS 6, IS 12 with incubator box OxiTop® Box

APHA 5210 Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD)/D respirometry method Ready sets for 6 or 12 simultaneous measurements. Measurements using OxiTop ® are based on pressure measurement in closed-loop system: microorganisms consume the oxygen in a sample and create CO2; CO2 is taken in by NaOH tablet creating vacuum that can be measured as BOD value in mg/l. The sample volume is determined the oxygen volume available for complete BOD. BOD measurement range up to 4000 mg/l can be measured by means of various volumes. The caps of OxiTop® (green
and yellow) have AutoTemp function: if temperature of a sample is too low then measurement commencement is suspended automatically at least for 1 hour  until  fixed temperature is established. 5 measured values are kept automatically (1 value per day) – BOD-5. Further measured values (after 5 days) also can be tracked in any time that allows measuring BOD of longer period of time.
