The production of chemicals in the West Kazakhstan region has begun

In the spring of 2020, the Topan company officially commenced a new base for the production of chemicals and additives for fuels and petrochemical products with a capacity of 20 thousand tons of products per year. There are no analogues to such production in WKR. The successful implementation of this project will reduce the volume of imports of chemical products in the western regions of the country, as well as provide access to the markets of the countries of the Customs Union.

The launching ceremony of the production workshop was attended by Head of administration of WKR Gali Iskaliyev, Director of Topan LLP Vladimir Kharchev and Commercial Director of Topan LLP Amangeldy Akhmenke. Head administration of the region congratulated the management and staff of the company on expanding production, creating new jobs, which, of course, will positively affect the development of the regional economy.

“On the eve of the wonderful spring holiday of Nauryz, a new production is opening in our region, which will reduce import volumes and provide large oil and gas sector operators with chemical products. The production of chemical reagents will increase the share of local content in the procurement of subsoil users. The head of state, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, instructed to support local business in a state of emergency, so it was especially relevant that our enterprises not only continue to function nominally, but also expand production and create employment opportunities”, said G. Iskaliyev.
