Automatic grinding and pressing machine (AMP)

Fully automated unit of grinding and pressing (AMP) is provided for preparation of samples of bulk materials and fabrication of press-tablets for XRF or XRD analysis. АМР represents as a compact package consisting of the following main components: 
Measuring hoper 
A measuring hoper is provided for dosing of volumetrical batch of bulk materials provided for further grinding and fabrication of press-tablet. 
Vibrating Disk Mill 
Disk Mill is used to grind the samples of bulk materials. Disk Mill is equipped with upgraded grinding chambers made of tungsten carbide. 
Press
Pressing of fine powdered material is carried out after the main process of grinding. Pressing is fulfilled in steel ring using an air-hydraulic cylinder. The cylinder can realize pre-installed cycle to inject the pressure, fixation and release of pressure. 
Cleaning procedure 
To ensure the operation of fully automated unit, after each process of pressing and grinding, the cleaning of all components of the system is carried out using jet nozzles for compressed air. Contaminated air generated in cleaning process via internal dust catching pipe is accumulated in a storage container which shall be connected with external dust removal system. 
Control system 
Control system on the basis of PLC with logic controller and touch-screen embedded in the case of the unit provides easy and clear control. So that the parameters such as grinding time, number of tablets of bounding agents as well as parameters of pressing can be set and save.
